On 20 March 2025, she was detained following a search and was taken into custody the next day on charges of participation in the activities of an extremist organisation due to her involvement with the Jehovah's Witnesses community. Members of this community are prosecuted under extremist articles solely for their religious activities, such as holding meetings and worship services, as well as engaging new followers.
